Mr. Henning Holck-Larsen, our Chairman Emeritus, received the Padma Bhushan award from the President of India, Mr. K.R. Narayanan, at the investiture ceremony held in New Delhi on March 23, 2002.

The Padma Bhushan comprises a medal and a certificate bearing the official citation.

While the award was announced on the Republic Day this year, the actual investiture ceremony took place at the imposing Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday evening. Dignitaries present at the function included the Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, and the Home Minister, Mr. L.K. Advani.
