| EBG Wins Three Value Engineering Awards | ||
| Mumbai, November 23, 2004: The Electrical and Electronics Division (EBG) of L&T has won the prestigious Handa Golden Key Rolling Trophy, the first prize in 2003-04, from Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST), in the Organised Corporate Activity category. EBG was given the award for wide usage of Value Engineering and Value Management techniques that have helped it bring down the cost in innovation management, add shareholder value, improve quality, simplify procedures, efficient materials management and develop value attitudes in its workforce. EBG, through its 210 value engineering projects, had been able to reap a substantial savings of over Rs. 11 crore in 2003-04 | ||
